Too bad it's based on the game Cyberpunk 2077 (which I don't play), not to mention only has female LIs.

Only female LIs? Thank god I didn't start reading then hhahaToo bad it's based on the game Cyberpunk 2077 (which I don't play), not to mention only has female LIs.

It's barely a prologueāno point in making judgment calls so soon.Only female LIs? Thank god I didn't start reading then hhaha
I'm not saying that the story isn't good, I played the game, and it is awesome, but the lack of male LIs is a turn-off for me.It's barely a prologueāno point in making judgment calls so soon.
There are also no platonic paths. So, even if you like the game, you won't be able to escape the romance and the fem LIs, which is yikes...I'm not saying that the story isn't good, I played the game, and it is awesome, but the lack of male LIs is a turn-off for me.
Unfortunate for u and I get what ur saying. My bisexual self needs a mix of both male and female LI's. Its not bad tho.Too bad it's based on the game Cyberpunk 2077 (which I don't play), not to mention only has female LIs.
We all have a few of those that don't tick off our list no worries. There's plenty more if'sLike Hyperion and Glitch says, I have nothing against the story or author, but since I'm straight female, I just know it is not my cup of tea. If it has male LIs I may be tempted to have a bi female MC.
I'm glad there are new IFs to read though, just kind of sad I won't be reading this one specifically.
It has been a long time since i played this one, so i don't recall much. I think i stopped playing once i reached chapter 2, i am not sure, but i know that it was still early in the story. I have no idea what factors made me lose interest but one look at the art and, well it may sound irrelevant, made me remember that the male ROs all having a beard was one of them...maybe iām just picky since iām a writer myself (just a hobby, nothing professional) and i love to read but i donāt understand why people promote their interactive fiction on tumblr, forums, etc. but never show a demoāor if they do show a demo its under 1k words and itāll be part one of a prologue, and you get part two of the prologue in 10 months at MOST. maybe iām just slow but whats the point of chopping up chapters? wouldnāt it make sense to release a full chapter? especially if itās supposed to be an introduction to your story. itās honestly a bit underwhelming to read the demos when its short and following the same concept that every other story has. they always have similar concepts and it gets repetitive.
anyway, check out this demo. itās a bit long and one of my favorites. https://domakir.itch.io/remnants-of-the-past
yeah honestly the plot was a bit difficult to follow but the author changed some stuff about ROs i believe? they constantly rewrite and fix scenesIt has been a long time since i played this one, so i don't remember much. I doubt it will get past a prologue if CD Project Red get wind of it, especially if the author intends to eventually charge people via a patreon or similar service. CD Project Red originally gave approval to a wonderful VN that imo looked like the romance and spice content was going to be better than their own game and was free and then they revoked approval and got it taken down. It was particularly great content for straight woman and homosexual men as the first 3 love interests were men. It's barely a prologueāno point in making judgment calls so soon.
I remember that one. One route was even available for download in its entirety and then the game was removed from everything. I prefer long demos, something that wouldn't take me 5 to 11 mins to play and I am done. Too short to get invested in the story, too short to be memorable, too short to easily ignore when there's a new update.maybe iām just picky since iām a writer myself (just a hobby, nothing professional) and i love to read but i donāt understand why people promote their interactive fiction on tumblr, forums, etc. but never show a demoāor if they do show a demo its under 1k words and itāll be part one of a prologue, and you get part two of the prologue in 10 months at MOST. maybe iām just slow but whats the point of chopping up chapters? wouldnāt it make sense to release a full chapter? especially if itās supposed to be an introduction to your story. itās honestly a bit underwhelming to read the demos when its short and following the same concept that every other story has. they always have similar concepts and it gets repetitive.

not to piggyback on your comment but doing so already, lmao. there's this specific game that recently made me so mad while browsing Tumblr. they were talking about characters, world-building, and a spin-off based on this place in the game. so exciting, right? unfortunately, there's no demo. it's basically the author playing RP with a bunch of people. it makes me so mad how many IFs spaces are now filled with really short demos or promises of a game that most of the time never arrives - just pure roleplay. i'm so thankful for all the amazing authors but doing things like this just feels icky.maybe iām just picky since iām a writer myself (just a hobby, nothing professional) and i love to read but i donāt understand why people promote their interactive fiction on tumblr, forums, etc. but never show a demoāor if they do show a demo its under 1k words and itāll be part one of a prologue, and you get part two of the prologue in 10 months at MOST. maybe iām just slow but whats the point of chopping up chapters? wouldnāt it make sense to release a full chapter? especially if itās supposed to be an introduction to your story. itās honestly a bit underwhelming to read the demos when its short and following the same concept that every other story has. they always have similar concepts and it gets repetitive.

Is name dropping against the rules because I would love to know which one this is xDnot to piggyback on your comment but doing so already, lmao. there's this specific game that recently made me so mad while browsing Tumblr. they were talking about characters, world-building, and a spin-off based on this place in the game. so exciting, right? unfortunately, there's no demo. it's basically the author playing RP with a bunch of people. it makes me so mad how many IFs spaces are now filled with really short demos or promises of a game that most of the time never arrives - just pure roleplay. i'm so thankful for all the amazing authors but doing things like this just feels icky.
im probably wrong but to me it just feels like people see the popularity in being an IF author and just jump on it without actually thinking of the hard work it takes to actually finish a story/game,speaking about the toxic tumblr IF scene, it feels like a clique that nearly every if author knows each other, boosting the works of their friends, which isnt a bad thing..however most of the time the works theyre boosting have zero content and just serve for the authors to pat eachother on the backnot to piggyback on your comment but doing so already, lmao. there's this specific game that recently made me so mad while browsing Tumblr. they were talking about characters, world-building, and a spin-off based on this place in the game. so exciting, right? unfortunately, there's no demo. it's basically the author playing RP with a bunch of people. it makes me so mad how many IFs spaces are now filled with really short demos or promises of a game that most of the time never arrives - just pure roleplay. i'm so thankful for all the amazing authors but doing things like this just feels icky.
