Aside from the fact that it's so soulless and dead, the IF/WIP community never fails to disappoint with their retardation. Wannabe writers dumping their first projects to start another one that they are going to dump as well. Yall retards might as well pack it up

maybe it's due to my grown age, or it's probably the high level of my head's maturity which keeps on developing instead of remaining stunted like yours, either way i had undergone an epiphany that made me realize just how exaggerated nd over the top ur reactions are, jesus. you are talking about passion projects ur not forced to pay for, ur entitlement and condescending attitude is breaking the charts as if those damned authors are using tools and coding materials created by u personally which would then excuse you calling them retards over words on a screen produced by them nonetheless don't u think urself the retarded, silly one in this equation. like omg man, u either grow the hell up nd pull ur head from how it's lodged so far up your bum, or go pick up a pen or a keyboard and try to chug out hundreds or thousands of words for a chapter nd keep on doing it for months and years on end, then we'll see how long would your big boy talk hold up. I understand/dig up nd encourage criticism and frustration concerned with specific features, plot lines, or even venting frustration abt characters or certain behaviors since majority of the authors act like you might as well have killed their family than talk a bit harshly abt the directions they're taking with their stories. however, acting like a teen whose entire neurological system is frying up cause puberty rolled in, over an author abandoning a work for reasons beyond ur comprehension is plain stupid, moreover this the retarded behavior instead matter of fact. get a life i beg of you lmaooo, I'm genuinely starting to feel second hand embarrassment whenever I see a cmt made by you.

nd for the record, this behavior of starting projects only to nuke them had actually been a thing for years now, like *gasp* not a newly discovered phenomenon. so u either adapt or hit the exit door mate, the edgy behaviour is getting ridiculously old.

I mean you can say whatever the **** you want to say, but you're just being a dumb one in here now mate. Because you can't call a public thing "just a passion project" mainly because it is public, and it involves an audience now. So that comment is just simply pulled out of your zen ***.
But I do wonder, what made you swing their way? You "growing up" can't be a reason, because this comment is anything but a proof of that, so it has to be something else.
And sure, while I don't make those shits myself, if you're not going to commit to one, why ****ing make it in the first place? Why make it public in the first place? While i agree with some of your points, especially your point of the edgy tone being a bit too... juvenile in some posts, I disagree with the rest. *just because you are bit older or the tone is.. well.., doesnt mean you should dismiss valid points.

the thread is clearly about ranting and pointing issues the OP finds with the IF space. And please, it's not as if some of these so called 'writers' aren't milking their 'free/passion project' audience for years on end.

This is a real problem which continues to plague and choke the IF space even now. When one has opened a Patreon or kofi, and are offering subscription tiers for certain services, then yes, the audience (mostly the ones who pay but also the potential customers) have the right to comment on certain things they find problematic.
