(If an official/better modder makes a mod for any of these, I will likely remove mine / link to their version.)

Notes:
  • HTML versions of my mods can now make use of the import and export features between books (if it exists in the official book). They originally could not.
  • I have added some new features (explained a bit in this post) that new mods will include. I will work on updating the old mods over time. Ones using the new features will be marked with a * after the date in the list below.

Mods included in this post:

Samurai of Hyuga 5 (1.0.17)

(last updated October 12, 2026)
[APK] | [APK backup] | [HTML] | [HTML backup]

Includes option to export your book 5 save for use in book 6.

Samurai of Hyuga 6 (1.0.1)

(last updated October 12, 2026)
[APK] | [APK backup] | [HTML] | [HTML backup]

The Magician's Burden (1.1.16)

(last updated October 13, 2026)
[APK] | [APK backup] | [HTML] | [HTML backup]

Now includes option to play the original, deleted chapter 8 ending. Character portraits included in html files.

The Mage's Adventure (1.0.21)

[APK] | [APK backup] | [HTML] | [HTML backup]

Character portraits included in html files.

Wayhaven Chronicles Book 3 (1.0.23)

[APK] | [APK backup] | [HTML] | [HTML backup]

Gender-locked female MC, male ROs. More NSFW than most CoG games.

Heart's Choice - Hearts in Hades: Divine Pleasure

(last updated October 11, 2026)
[APK] | [APK backup] | [HTML] | [HTML backup]

Gender-locked female MC, male ROs.

Weyrwood (1.0.25)

(last updated October 19, 2026)
[APK] | [APK backup] | [HTML] | [HTML backup]

There is an official mod by Dei [here] if you'd prefer it, but it does not include the save plugin.

Guenevere (WIP)

(last updated October 19, 2026)
[APK] | [APK backup] | [HTML] | [HTML backup]

Also available on cogdemos, but lacks a save plugin. This WIP has not been updated in a long time, but 1.5 books are completed, if you still wish to try it.

Gender-locked female MC.

Way Walkers University 1 (2.0.17)

(last updated November 6, 2026)
[APK] | [APK backup] | [HTML] | [HTML backup]

There is an official mod by Dei [here] if you'd prefer it, but it does not include the save plugin.

If you had downloaded the game before Nov. 6 and want to update, I can't guarantee that your old saves will still be there or work. In theory, they should, but I forgot to check to make sure.

[APK] | [APK backup] | [HTML] | [HTML backup]

There is an official mod by Dei [here] if you'd prefer it, but it does not include the save plugin.

[APK] | [APK backup] | [HTML] | [HTML backup]

Gender-locked male MC, male ROs.

Pendragon Rising (1.0.20)

(last updated November 6, 2026)
[APK] | [APK backup] | [HTML] | [HTML backup]

There is an official mod by Dei [here] if you'd prefer it, but it does not include the save plugin.

Heart's Choice - A Pirate's Pleasure

(last updated November 6, 2026)
[APK] | [APK backup] | [HTML] | [HTML backup]

There is an official mod by Dei [here] if you'd prefer it, but it does not include the save plugin.

Gender-locked female MC, male ROs.

Note: I am mainly focusing on games that I've bought, played in the past, or have wanted to play but haven't gotten around to it (I'm actually way behind on official releases, honestly). This is more of a personal project for me, so I can customize or add things the way that I want. I will only post my version here if the official mod lacks a save plugin or content update.

Hopefully it’s okay for me to make this thread. I didn’t want the requests thread to get clogged, or to potentially get multiple DMs/mail about the same issues. Move/delete if needed.

I tried to make a mod menu for Samurai of Hyuga 6. I don’t normally use mod menus myself, so hopefully it has what you guys need. I’ve made a few private mods for myself previously, but it’s been years.

I have done basic testing on this but have not played the game yet (I want to reread the series before I play it fully), so please report errors here. Or make suggestions for any changes / additions. No guarantees it's something I can do (or want to do lol).

If needed, I will delete if an official(?) mod comes out, or someone with more experience makes one.

Warning about a particular stat in the game:
There is an unknown “something” stat (name becomes known in chapter 3/4) that heavily affects the game. I recommend caution when changing this one.

If you do change it, the number you enter will likely not be what shows up in your stats (ex: entering 80 might show up as 83%). It’s calculated in a different way than most stats and isn't something I can change.

The game will also occasionally reset that stat, so your changes will not always stick.

If you want to import your character from book 5, you will have to install the APK. It won't work with the html version.

Compiled html:

If you want the uncompiled files for code diving or whatever, see my original post with the unmodded game in the requests thread.

Appreciate you stepping up, still got to wait for the updated book 5 to save upload unfortunately

Thank you very much, but could you do the same for book 5, please?

Yes, I'm going to work on one for 5 and post to this thread, if the official mod here doesn't get updated before that. It might still be another day or two, but I think 5 will be easier than 6, so hopefully not too long.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.

Thanks a lot. But doesnt the book 5 already upload here? Or the want you want to make is the newest version?

Yep, the one in the mod section is an outdated version of the game. The most recent update lets you export your character so you can import it into 6.

Speaking of, finished the mod for SoH5 and updated the first post with links. Hope it works for you guys.

Really appreciate you. People who go out of their way to work and help others for no reward can't be praised enough

Is there any way to transfer a save from the old mod to this one so it can be exported for book 6? Or do i need to fully replay it again?

Unfortunately, you'll have to replay book 5 if you use this. I don't think there's a way to transfer saves like that.

Thanks for the mods. If you have some time, could you please make a tutorial thread as well please? About the modding process.

Anyone else having issues where the saves uploaded from Dan's mods aren't accessible to load when you use these ones?

I'm not great at explaining things tbh, so I doubt I'll write any tutorials. There are already a few on this forum if you look around, I think.

I used this tutorial (https://choiceofmods.com/threads/adding-save-system-to-deiarcana-mods.6059/) to check on how to compile games since I haven't done it before this. They also show how to add in a save plugin, and mention a guide on how to mod games (I assume this one: https://choiceofmods.com/threads/my-scene-files-mods-and-tutorials.6288/). I haven't given that one a close look, but I'm sure it's a good place to start. Looks like they include some of their mods as examples for people to take a look at.

For anyone wanting to turn CoG games (I assume Twine games as well) into APKs, I recommend checking out Capsule HTML2APK on itch.io (https://capsuleteam.itch.io/capsule-html2apk-html-to-apk-converter). It's technically for a VN engine, but works with anything that's a single html file. You do also need Android Studio, but there are no trials or restrictions like some other "free" APK builder programs I've seen. Just need to remember to add any images, etc to the assets in the project folder the program creates (under "/app/src/main/assets", which is where the index.html will be) before actually building the APK, else your images will be blank.

I tried downloading the SoH4 mod here in the mod section and just clicking through super fast to make a save. It showed up when I tried to import into my modded 5. Just checking, are you using the APK version? I'm not sure why it's not showing up for you.

Thanks for going out of your way to help out. Yes I use the .apk as I'm on android. The old samurai of hyuga 5 without the updates has access to my more recent game uploads. The updated one I downloaded is showing my saves from years ago but not the new ones. No idea why, and trying to avoid playimg through all 4 again if the same thing may just happen again.

[edit] I have also added a mod for the most recent update of Samurai of Hyuga 5, which adds the option to export your character so you can use it in book 6.

Samurai of Hyuga 5 (1.0.17):

Same deal as for 6. Basic testing has everything working , but I have not played the game through with this. Adds a mod menu for changing stats, along with the save plugin.

If needed, I will delete if the official mod gets updated, or someone with more experience makes one.

Other notes:
There are apps on Android like WebCode, TrebEdit, or similar that let you "play" html files and you can import/export characters that way. But I am unsure if the apps are stable enough for a full playthrough, or if there are similar apps for other platforms.

If you want the uncompiled files for code diving or whatever, see my original post with the unmodded games (though the save plugin is included) in the requests thread.

YOU RULE MAN, THANKS

I was just planning to mod this, good thing I checked here first. Congratulations on the release! I will finally be playing this saga.

Sorry for not being much help with this and asking the probably obvious questions, but are you sure you're using the same email address for both?

I can't see any reason why your newer saves aren't showing up. I checked the code in mine and Dan's mods. The "store name" that's used by the server to identify the games is the same, so any saves associated with both that "store name" and email should come up, I think.

If the email is the same, and Dan's mod doesn't get updated soon, you might could try just clicking fast through 4 to make a save and test it out. If you just select the first option every time, it should only take a few minutes to speed through for a test run.
