Ooof, saw the God-cursed author rant of epic proportions reposted on my tumblr tl. Thing was directed at awful pirates (calling everyone terribly empty; Dramatic much?), so I have a question: is Godcursed even any good? I remember dropping it during prologue, but maybe I have been missing out on... something?
I also didn't get far. Felt too much like "useless MC gets coddled and doted on by everyone" for my tastes :S So of course it's super-popular...

The thing that did it for me was telling the people who steal her work that they'd enjoy AI stories. Clearly by her tone she hates them, so does she not see she's degrading herself by comparing her work to them? it actually made me have a laugh out loud
Anyways, despite the rage fueled name calling, author is objectively incorrect here. Piracy is copyright infringement, and it does not fall under the category of theft

Went to look at it, glad their friends told them to take a breather. Not because I think they're right or wrong, but because they seemed very upset. I enjoy God-Cursed's writing, I've had moments where I disagreed with the author, but at the end of the day I don't really think bad of them for it.
As for me, I didn't feel that targeted (bothered?) because I'm not self-righteous about pirating in the first place, hope they'll be able to focus on the positives, and their friends continue to support them
Eh, I am whatever about it. Like, when I see authors going 'oh, it's JUST 5 USD', my brain immediately goes 'oh, it's clear we live in very different countries, honey'.

Lets be real, this is not VN at all. Just usual text-only if made with renpy. Adding one free track and some backgrounds doesn't make it vn, you can do exact same thing with twine. Incubus series author does not advertising her work as a vn's. PDRRook Also makes if's with renpy, and she's always creative with UI's. What puffin doing - just scam
Yes but The lack of words makes it look like a VN, especially when the text in the lower section is so small. The background is more eye-catching and interesting than the relationship, which feels rushed, just like in typical otome games. It would be better if she made it a VN then maybe it would actually be worth buying. Mind u the author also use the otome tags on itch io so i expected more than just that for 21 dollar ig
She made space for a holy spirit and bga lmao. In any case we can agree that this is absolute nothing-burger and price is outrageous. There's a lot of free/cheaper vn's/dating sims that more interesting, satisfying and overall better. Some demos got me invested more than this one.
Funny thing - she tried to kickstart it as a full vn and failed. Seems like it still stings for her to come up with 24$
