...are warmongers that I felt zero pity for. #theantagonistdidnothingwrong
Oh ****, I haven't realised we were talking about Arcadie. Daaaaaaamn, I'm
so glad that I pirated that one, and haven't given a cent, because what in the actual **** is that game?
First you play as a classic trope of MC being a little *****, who is overshadowed by their sister who is the best thing to ever grace the planet, while you're basically a peasant in disguise. But that's only the beginning.
Your fam gets murked, which was aight, I get that, but the antagonist is like, even if they agree with you, or you with them, they're still like nah, you have to die because reasons. But then, your sister is graced by the Gods and has that power or whatever that was, I can't recall perfectly, it's been a long time since I played.
But then! She gets ****ing murked, even though I'm pretty sure I'd kill her myself, so now, by the grace of plot and pity, you are given powers to wipe out everyone and anyone, and yet, you only use them
****ing once, and it wasn't even
intentional. Rather, it was just you being big mad or something.
Fast forward a little, we have those two ROs who are aight ig, though I find it fun how one of the ROs, the one that has money and connections, has to be there to save your *** in the world of politics with the retards of the kingdom, because it is not like you're the
****ing ruler with superpowers, and then! The antagonist shows up, and because he has blood of your parents on his armor, suddenly he's untouchable? But that's not even the
bad part!
At the end, we need to
pity him? I mean obviously we don't have to, since I recall killing him, but making him a RO, right. He's a RO who kills your whole ****ing family, and you're supposed to feel bad for him? To let him live? At least make the guy ****ing likeable, like God damn! He appears for one page at the beginning, and then at the end, and solely based on one "philosophical convo", someone is supposed to fall for him?
That's exactly why I never even bothered with the second book, since the first one was pretty *** imo
