What made you guys get into IF's?

Are you still playing their games? Moonvale?
Lol yeah, imo it would much better if they made a sequel of duskwood instead of jump to a new story tho, there are still many unanswered questions. Tbh im more excited with the side story instead of the main story itself lol but so far so good

At the end of Duskwood, you can copy a code to use in Moonvale to find out what happened to Jake @aceee
Yes, but in the latest episode, we still don't know where Jake is, instead another character appears. Like phil's case and else. I havent play it without the code, so i dont know how different it is with the code. Its more fun to find out about jake and our friend from duskwood instead of finding adam 😭

I think they're using Jake to attract Duskwood fans (like me lol)

Edit: Also I've seen fans say that Adam is actually Jake because of the black hoddie and his profile pictures

Lol same here. Oh, i also heard that theory, it could be tho. But while i feel jake is someone who cautious and detail-oriented, adam is not giving me the vibe... yet. But again knowing moonvale and duskwood is not that far from each other, anything could happen. Let's wait for another eternity :)

Me I am older, being a kid from the 80's they had these books called mad libs, sort of like the predecessor's to choose your won adventures where you literally chose words for the books to move on the story then there was these little books called dungeon's and dragons lol. Add that all to being an avid reader of just about every genre it just made sense to em when I first read when the book Choice of Robot's first came out.
My dad gifted me one of those as a kid, it was his as a kid. "Space Patrol" by Julius Goodman.

I remember loving those books, shame I don't have them on me anymore.

They probably didn't think that the hacker storyline alone would be big enough to make a whole new game out of it. Other than that, the only unanswered questions left were our phone number (that can be easily resolved by conversation with Hannah) and Richy. It's not that much...

And I understand why they wanted to try something new. Personally, I really like the new story. If it continues to be this good, I'll enjoy it even more than Duskwood. I'm talking about the plot itself, the game still has flaws; they haven't completely removed the AI, although at least limited it a bit and changed the design of some parts of the game. Backgrounds look good same characters profiles.

Was it always a love for it? Or something else?

For me, I'm just autistic af and I have a fixation on games with choices since I was a kid lol.
In my teens, I was all over the early version of Episode, then in the pandemic, I started playing Love Island The Game (rip seasons 1-3), and when that went to **** I learned about IFs but generally only care for reality tv IFs so body count, summer of love, the supernatural one I can't remember the name of, etc
