The spirit?? Did not know that.
I'm not sure if thats still the case but when I played a few years ago she gave you a tiny amount of corruption if you did her bidding instead of running for mother.
Correct. If you let her try to possess you and Kosuke as a kid, you get a bit of taint.
Also while crafting the nuke for dessy there is an option to spiritually scan the explosive vials which lets you use insight and handseals for a little more aura
Improving Muramasa after the graveyard mission also gives more corrupt chi.

The interesting thing is that even if you don't follow the demonic path, the two Taios are still inside your body, but they only stop interacting with you after a while. This makes me wonder if the author has some plan for them in the non-demonic route, or if they will forever remain trapped in ou bodie (which, considering their personalities, would be like being in hell).
If you get cleansed, I think they are gone for good.
What does praying at the shrine even do?
Yes, you're right, we can do that on the demonic route, but if we never start the demonic route, we never purify ourselves (as far as I remember), so they're still in there, they just can't or don't want to interact with us.
Lowers your taint a little bit if you are compassionate enough and gives you a little more compassion. That's it.
I did everything perfectly and have 524 / 500 at the end of dragon trial , not sure what effects it has and 581 at the end.

Hey I hand the golden archon as mentor so my inner limit got extended to 1000 but on the other acrhon paths I assume it's a death by archons.

Speaking about the corrupt path, since Scholar will be our next, and main, "teacher" I wonder if the two versions of his three techniques we can have so far are really how his technique operates or if we have only a crude form of it and that he'll "re-teach" or simply teach the advanced uses of them.
Life Drain, Blood Crystals and Blood Clones.
I'll even avoid from taking the Kurokonton clones by the way, because it seems all clones end to be the same(Water Clones, Earth Clones and Kurokonton Clones), so I believe the Bloody Clones are going to follow this.
Man, if scholar Taio already has all this potential things to teach us, techniques, Akumatization, how to create our own Corrupted Gate... I can just salivate with thoughts of how much the OG "Blood-lord" Taio has to offer.
