In text yeah but I think she does give a bit on the code. Same for (ironically) the graveyard granny at the childhood prologue.Doesn't the game make a point that Jahi doesn't give you any corruption whatsoever?

I cheated and used the boss's talisman with fangWhat route did you guys take on the Stallion Trial?
The spirit?? Did not know that.In text yeah but I think she does give a bit on the code. Same for (ironically) the graveyard granny at the childhood prologue.
I'm not sure if thats still the case but when I played a few years ago she gave you a tiny amount of corruption if you did her bidding instead of running for mother. The spirit?? Did not know that.

Correct. If you let her try to possess you and Kosuke as a kid, you get a bit of taint. The spirit?? Did not know that.
Also while crafting the nuke for dessy there is an option to spiritually scan the explosive vials which lets you use insight and handseals for a little more auraI see the problem already. I did not sacrifice the people to the manual as I'm used to picking the path manual instead as its more useful than ~40 qi in my mind. Good to know that it affects the demonic qi you have.
I did some of the dragon trial events you're mentioning. Steel thread and graveyard, but not the lunargoth thing. That and the path manual sacrifice I did not know they made a 100 qi difference.
Thanks
If you get cleansed, I think they are gone for good. The interesting thing is that even if you don't follow the demonic path, the two Taios are still inside your body, but they only stop interacting with you after a while. This makes me wonder if the author has some plan for them in the non-demonic route, or if they will forever remain trapped in ou bodie (which, considering their personalities, would be like being in hell).
Town( Buy trade goods, Pray at the shrines and get Binbin)
Feathergrass( Bo option, use lesser treasure to get Marmot as mount)
Gleaming Saltpan(Feed everyone with rations)
Jungle( Scorpion mount usually but you can also kill it to get it's soul treasure which I usually don't. But you get a free mount later if you helped the Steel Thread Alliance so you can. )
Yes, you're right, we can do that on the demonic route, but if we never start the demonic route, we never purify ourselves (as far as I remember), so they're still in there, they just can't or don't want to interact with us.If you get cleansed, I think they are gone for good.
Lowers your taint a little bit if you are compassionate enough and gives you a little more compassion. That's it.What does praying at the shrine even do?
I did everything perfectly and have 524 / 500 at the end of dragon trial , not sure what effects it has and 581 at the end.I see the problem already. I did not sacrifice the people to the manual as I'm used to picking the path manual instead as its more useful than ~40 qi in my mind. Good to know that it affects the demonic qi you have.

It has the effect that you die when the auto-kill is added.I did everything perfectly and have 524 / 500 at the end of dragon trial , not sure what effects it has.
Hey I hand the golden archon as mentor so my inner limit got extended to 1000 but on the other acrhon paths I assume it's a death by archons. It has the effect that you die when the auto-kill is added.
Very late on this, but it's very simple: demonic cultivation is a dead end for the vast majority of practitioners. Remember, the Inner Hellscape is something Taio himself developed, and we haven't found any evidence that anyone but him knows how to make one. So demonic cultivators turning into Fiends is ultimately a matter of when, not if, unless they get killed beforehand. And whether they die before turning into a Fiend or afterwards, they inevitably get damned to the Hells for all eternity. While that's undoubtedly true, I would like to propose a question. This is a cultivation story, which means getting stronger is core to the theme. AC is also a setting where slavery is normal, so moral wise they're a lot more flexible than we are. Why then is everyone not a demonic cultivator if it's just a shortcut to power? Sacrificing people in a ritual shouldn't be THAT more depraved compared to subjecting them to lifelong slavery? But instead it's looked upon with scorn, as if it's a moral boundary that most people wouldn't cross.
The Yin/Yang crests are interesting but rely on a slight bit of meta knowledge: you need to actually have a Yin/Yang element to get the most use out of them. But if you are able to do that, then the crests are quite powerful, since using them together gets you... something like 4 extra cores? Because you'll get +1 Power from Yang, +1 Soul from Yin, and then another 2 if you have both equipped, along with, as mentioned, the increased elemental mastery.I've always asked for those merchants for an extra ship.
But now I'm wondering if it's actually better to ask for the rest of the yang/ying artifact, do any of you who asked for that artifact can vouch for it?
It gives an +1 mastery to your element
You're salivating at the thought of Taio showing you his taint?I can just salivate with thoughts of how much the OG "Blood-lord" Taio has to offer.
