But isn't it pretty much impossible to ascend in the demonic path? Sure you won't "lose" because knowing Anon he'll still make it peak but in general you'll be much worse off no matter what
He meant in the grand schemes of things you cannot ascend and will also need to run away from Rasen by the end and live in your hell or the one you takeover and the path itself will lonely as almost Ros will reject you once it gets out but that's the point of the point it is supposed to be lonely but hell will surely have enough subjects to give him company.

So how different do you all think demonic path is gonna be in the future ?
Because I am not sure how to feel about the fact that Archonate can just be infiltrated by some upstart Demonic cultivator whose "mentors" include a guy who loses to an untrained labourer and a guy who lost to an untrained labourer who unlocked his style chi like a few hours back. But a completely independent path for demonic mcs also seems unlikely.

The Demonic guys are not ready for the book 2 epilogue reveal.
It's pretty simple actually not get caught in actions and also never let your corruption get higher than your hell as long as these two things are taken care of you will he fine till mid to late book 4.
Yeah but someone as new to cultivation as our mc being able to infiltrate the peace keeping force of the whole Imperial Rasen just makes the Archonate look incompetent ngl. I mean they have a Jade dragon with thousands of years of experience on their side and they haven't made any detection methods which can weed out demonic cultivators from the Archonate ?
I think might be worth it to add in an Akuma lord who is a credible threat to the Archonate teaching our mc or doing something to him to further hide his corruption.
Either that or we are about to see a major upscale for Taio by the end of book 1. Also can lead to a plot where the og Taio has some plan in place to take over a demonic Mc in book 2.
Bro people don't have hells unlike you and people of new yomi also cannot hide their corruption no one can not like mc it's unique to mc and taio .Taio made this thing so yes it is untraceable as long as you don't go over the limit if you do you will executed in seconds so while they can weed out people and they do this is a foolproof thing pretty much you can thank taio for it.
Also another to keep in mind is demonic path itself is a secondary content as in it is not take into consideration when actual plot is made its why mc got lucky with such a unique technique which can hide demonic corruption so you have to keep that in mind aswell demonic route is just there for extra content.
Yeah but then I would have to give Taio some credit and you know we can't do that.
Jokes aside so it's something completely new huh. That would make more sense. Seems like Taio might actually end up recovering some of his threat level by the end of book 1 or in book 2.
My prediction since day 1 was always that original Taio was going to be the final villain on book 1, in both normal and demonic run (just look at the second page of the game, it's definitely a set up for his comeback)

Demonic path isn't as bad as some people say. Gameplay is the same and you don't lose girls either. You really think Leona or you beggar girl would leave you just because your doing demonic art. Hell you can pretty much tell the beggar your plan in the beggining to harvest the bandits after defeating Tao and she was pretty chill about it. It's just virtue signalling for people saying it's horrible.

There is always someone new who doesn't bother to read what the dev has himself said and doesn't bother to even read what the discussion clearly states it is for book 4 and getting caught and kosuke is the only ro who will remain with mc everyone knows that and she already knows others knowing it execution for mc and anon plans to write those all around book 2 .Sun hana would have no issue either tho she isn't a full ro,same for jahi possibly

Right, as if Interactive Fictions are set in stone. It's called interactive because their are more than one path yet goody two shoes claim their path is the right one.
Being a goody two shoes is always the proper path, everywhere, always.
Well being evil or neutral is never the issue you can be ruthless and morally bad but as long as you are a net plus in archonate and don't get caught in activities you will be fine if mc wasn't in the archonate then he could even be worse and as long he would stay under radar he would be able to get away with it . Even goro who is actually way more evil than most will clean up his act and become a net plus in archonate but yeah the AC world has plenty of evils and mc can be evil or neutral it has nothing to do with demonic cultivation even someone who is good trying to do demonic cultivation out of curiosity and not killing any innocents will get executed on spot too so it has never been about Good vs bad lol the demonic path itself is what people get culled for.
Once again it's punished like this because a Demonic cultivator is basically slave to the demons whether he kills more people he gives a part of it to hell and demons who eats free food and entertainment if he dies then he becomes the Food for them the winner always are the demons though ofcourse a Demonic cultivator staying alive and bringing food is better than him becoming the food so the demons get free service the only exception is if a Sacred user cleanses the demonic person's soul while killing them this way the demons don't get their food and win even if the demonic cultivator dies.
Evil and good and neutral all get together to cull demonic for a reason because no one wants some demons to win.

Mc would have stayed a surnameless farmer if that was the right choice or did everyone forget that aura cycling was forbidden for commoners including the mc.
