But isn't it pretty much impossible to ascend in the demonic path? Sure you won't "lose" because knowing Anon he'll still make it peak but in general you'll be much worse off no matter what
He meant in the grand schemes of things you cannot ascend and will also need to run away from Rasen by the end and live in your hell or the one you takeover and the path itself will lonely as almost Ros will reject you once it gets out but that's the point of the point it is supposed to be lonely but hell will surely have enough subjects to give him company.

So how different do you all think demonic path is gonna be in the future ?
Because I am not sure how to feel about the fact that Archonate can just be infiltrated by some upstart Demonic cultivator whose "mentors" include a guy who loses to an untrained labourer and a guy who lost to an untrained labourer who unlocked his style chi like a few hours back. But a completely independent path for demonic mcs also seems unlikely.

The Demonic guys are not ready for the book 2 epilogue reveal.
It's pretty simple actually not get caught in actions and also never let your corruption get higher than your hell as long as these two things are taken care of you will he fine till mid to late book 4.
Yeah but someone as new to cultivation as our mc being able to infiltrate the peace keeping force of the whole Imperial Rasen just makes the Archonate look incompetent ngl. I mean they have a Jade dragon with thousands of years of experience on their side and they haven't made any detection methods which can weed out demonic cultivators from the Archonate ?
I think might be worth it to add in an Akuma lord who is a credible threat to the Archonate teaching our mc or doing something to him to further hide his corruption.
Either that or we are about to see a major upscale for Taio by the end of book 1. Also can lead to a plot where the og Taio has some plan in place to take over a demonic Mc in book 2.
Bro people don't have hells unlike you and people of new yomi also cannot hide their corruption no one can not like mc it's unique to mc and taio .Taio made this thing so yes it is untraceable as long as you don't go over the limit if you do you will executed in seconds so while they can weed out people and they do this is a foolproof thing pretty much you can thank taio for it.
Also another to keep in mind is demonic path itself is a secondary content as in it is not take into consideration when actual plot is made its why mc got lucky with such a unique technique which can hide demonic corruption so you have to keep that in mind aswell demonic route is just there for extra content.

Jokes aside so it's something completely new huh. That would make more sense. Seems like Taio might actually end up recovering some of his threat level by the end of book 1 or in book 2.
My prediction since day 1 was always that original Taio was going to be the final villain on book 1, in both normal and demonic run (just look at the second page of the game, it's definitely a set up for his comeback)
