Eh the TW thing would be different if MC had his full memories which isn’t the case. Idk the 20 thing would be valid in the real world. I would think someone from one of the great clans even if it’s declining would be smarter tbh. Their rivals are known for scheming. I feel after the Aunt thing MC would’ve reflected and started to move smarter.

And the reason the MC can reach BH's level in such a short time isn't due to his intelligence at all, but simply because he was given a much better physique than most people in this world—not because he works harder or is smarter. I never said that TW was a genius compared to the MC or that the MC had to be a genius to literally learn from past experiences that he's already been through but keeps making the same mistakes anyway.

I don't get why everyone so sure what MC is stupid. Almost all of the idiotic decisions is optional. MC easily can be played as pragmatic and rational character. And most arguments about MC being stupid is strange. There nothing stupid about MC trying to test power in arena after coma. Using the dao is optional and MC can beat stone guy just by stats alone, so there nothing revealing about MC power, unless player decide otherwise. Moment with the letter is also understandable. Signatures in Poma world works like fingerprint, overall believed what it can't be forged. And letter looks like invitation to some secret meeting, what elder wanted to speak about something without it being publicly known. So from MC would be stupid just openly come to elder and start talking about it
