I could see it being the Prince Song tbh. Plus it seems like they do hate the MC existence at least Song Clan does.
I also considered the possibility that it could be Prince Song, and I would actually prefer that to be the case. Unfortunately, it is unlikely. When she talks about her fiance, she mentions something about “meeting again,” implying that the MC has already interacted with him, which is not the case with Prince Song (as far as we know).
I was thinking about everyone we met, and I haven't fully played through some routes except for lore reasons so a lot of skipping. Anyways have we had anything else with the mistress? LDQ? Kinda weird she disappeared and scary tbh. I’m expecting her to be in the tournament, but idk. Maybe she’s mentioned or appears on another route? DQ child or something. Or is it another plot point Niki hasn’t went back to yet?
One thing I've always been curious about is how Wu Chao was so strong. I mean, he was called Heavenly Prodigy and the best of his generation, I doubt he would have received these titles if his generation didn't have other geniuses from the other Clans. So, again, how was he so strong? The Wu Clan as far as we know has no Transformation Techniques, Wu Chao himself had no Transcendent Art as the Clan was already in ruins before he was born, with all this, how could he have been superior to everyone?
He created a top grade art (Fire Scorching Kicks) as a Houtian. He was also the strongest houtian of his generation too iirc. And the strongest Peak Xiantian currently.
He was born with high blood purity, comprehension and bodily talent probably.
That simply doesn't say much. Tell me, in all honesty, do you think the IE MC (maximized 10k stats and all arts at Perfection Success), who Wu Chao himself admitted was much more talented than him, could beat characters like Yang Gan (who wasn't even called Heavenly Prodigy like Wu Chao)?
Man, I'll be optimistic since I like IE MC a lot, maybe it would be a good fight, but I can't imagine him winning. In my opinion, IE MC could fight better than Qi MC, but I have to admit that Qi MC is much more powerful at the same level.
Edit: By "could fight better" I mean that at the time he wrote this part of the story Nicky didn't hate the MC yet and was writing fights where the MC could be the top dog and dominate the fights and beat everyone without depending on Arts or anything.

Eh not really, talent and blood purity carries imo. I think you are just thinking too deeply about it. Some people are just naturally talented, and that’s it nothing more. Remember Transcendent arts are rare not everyone is just making them. I think Niki said on discord long ago it was a mix of Talent/ Purity and something else or I’m thinking of the wrong person. Plus he’s still from a great clan even collapsed lol. Chao was guaranteed to reach S before everything. I don’t think it’s that crazy.
Thing is MC even now has a trash body if we are to trust Ruo's word. If Chao has heavenly bodily talent he could probably box at Top 10 Houtian level with people like Yang Gan and Tang Bo.
Or it could be 15k was always the full limit of what a PH could do and we just never saw it because we became a cultivator at the expo.
I don't know. I still think there's something missing to explain his strength. BP is important and all, but I can't imagine that this and a good body talent can guarantee the top of the generation. I mean, MC has something much better than BP and his Spells have already been recognized as having much greater power than even the Transcendent Arts, but even so, he's not there yet.
Ruo is a slow burn and Xiwen pretty much got abandoned as a LI, got one date that's still supposedly bugged and no other content afterwards.
I think potential matters more, you have knowledge of cultivators now and all, but before BP was the big thing like go back and see how they reacted to BP at the start. BP can carry and was the original thing. Now it doesn’t matter because you know cultivators but yes BP is that important or was.
He only managed to create his own technique due to winning a danger zone and being rewarded by the sect
