Yeah figured the other SP it was unlocking memories now it’s The Who was talking.
Considering that in this scene Tang Wei is using Body, Elemental and Void powers, I suppose it's a memory exclusive to those who have unlocked the Tri Dao.
... Or, with some hope and luck, a memory that will unlock the Tri Dao for the other routes... But what are the chances?

Space based powers has always been my favorite since I was younger, Has so much potential tbh, hopefully in the future it’s used in better ways. I understand rn it’s the beginning and Wu Heir needs room for improvement so understandable.

To be fair, I didn't have much to complain about Ruo, he was strong, rich and whatever, but, as in any story, the MC would gradually surpass him, it was inevitable. It bothered me a bit how much Ruo was exalted (TW taking a moment just to praise Ruo was pure bs), but I still didn't see a problem.
No, my problem with Ruo started when the powers of his physique were revealed, "Heavens themselves help him cultivate, [...] Karma itself will bend around him and make him succeed." Such a thing is not a special power or perk, no, this is in fact a "useful literary tool", a way for the author to do whatever he wants with Ruo without needing logical explanations or context, it's ridiculous. I don't know if anyone here has read Medaka Box, but this is exactly Medaka's power, the power to always succeed because it's convenient for the plot.
Yup, I see what Niki wanted to do I think I had made a things I hate about Poma. and Ruo was to of the 6. Niki clearly wanted him to be the typical rival you see the Sasuke like to our “Underdog”, but failed to give Ruo flaws and I don’t want to hear his ego is a flaw like Vegeta or such. Like he’s born to the most powerful ruling over the world type Clan, great training a great physique, transformation, unrivaled sword talent, and like everyone besides rogues and such loves him. That’s if I may a Gary Stu and Self Insert type character no? I guarantee he’s keeping up with MC now even if world combine, was he not forming his Dao or anything unconsciously? Or am I misremembering wtf kinda BS is this. So yes I will always wake up extra early to hate on Ruo.
Another thing about Ruo, his hypocrisy annoys me. He feels betrayed and angry if the MC doesn't reveal a secret, but when the MC asks him about his secret he replies something like "Don't poke your nose in where it doesn't belong". Then, against Prince Song, after receiving a sneak attack he says something like "Princes don't do sneak attacks. You're nothing but pathetic vermin.", but also Ruo:
imo that stealth attack thing is less ruo being a hypocrite and more niki himself forgetting/retconning things as he moves along
remember how lady sha teaches you jia's demonic code in the prologue but in the wu clan mission if you kill the rebels shes all like "nooo you cant be evil i didnt raise you like this"

Idk feels like it goes with the other Sneak Peak tbh with MC vision going black into memories would make sense, who knows tho
Yes, it gets worse when you remember that the Nine Tenets were brought in in a later update than the one that added the mission.
I agree that in this scene it's more of a failure on Nicky's part. But unfortunately for Ruo and for us, as the author, Nicky's failures matter as much as his successes, and in this case, he makes Ruo look like a hypocritical clown.

Man it messes up powerscaling even more. I imagine you can advance to MH if youre playing on story mode in the first free roam which happens like a month after we advance to Houtain. I'm almost close to expedition and not in one instance is it mentioned how Wu Heir advanced to MH.
After replaying the fights again, Idk why Niki insists on getting MC hurt regardless of choices in the latest fights. You can beat Mo Long without taking a single hit despite the fact he uses incomplete asura form. Its the same with early arena fights and first tourney fights, we even take no damage most of times when using non IE moves with sufficient stats. Its refreshing to see MC dominate fights. Lets hope the 3v3 is similar to the early fights where MC is more of a skilled fighter rather than a Unga Bunga fighter.

Yes, I think the only two circumstances where this advancement is relevant is during the event with the cousin and when He Mei sends the advancement pill, MC/narrator comments something like "a little too late".
Exactly. I talked about this earlier. Again, I'm somewhat hopeful for this update, both from the scenes in the screenshots and the amount of sneak peeks, Nicky looks inspired/enthusiastic judging by the speed he's writing, I really hope we get to see the old, competent MC again.
Eventually with Tri Dao we would have such versatile abilities. Elements, Body and Space covers almost everything around. It only requires creativity and skill on the MC's part. Instead of spamming them at every opportunity, try using them only when required. Niki can even use this as an excuse to why MC seems so sluggish after the coma, That Wu heir started to depend too much on their dao because it just took them a thought to conjure up what they want unlike actually using your brain, fists and feet to manuever during a fight. In short, MC is too dependent on dao and became lazy. Im sure any competent teacher would point this out if given a chance.
