No it's the prince you fight with Ruo he hates you because from the side story LB told the rogues that the mc will become their leader They call it "Sanhe" leader of the three clans and there was supposed to be a test for it but LB said no to that and said only mc will be the leader.The father of Song Edu is the shadow guy one of the top 5 shangtians if I remember correctly and he slaps his son lol as he tells him Mc will be their leader so I think the assassination event being so weak was because it was only the prince using resources so his father doesn't get altered as anyone older and powerful listens to Lb and are ready to make mc their leader.

After reading that Song Edu story, it makes the rogue faction more attractive to me. Even a Shangtian would kill his own son if he defies you, plus you can unlock Tri-Dao by LB teaching.

Those bum Tang clan ain't got nothing useful for us at all at this point. No wonder even the Yangs are betraying them too.

The tang clan got two favorite children of heaven (AKA NICKY) in form of TR and TY they are pretty much fine, and I think he's make the rogue option more attractive to balance it out I guess, still my Wu heir will continue being a neutral and farm qi as much as possible

Yes I think he is. I love world building like this. Niki should do this more.

Those children of heaven safety can only be ensured by POMA getting abandoned and thus the plot never reach the point of their defeat.
