That was confirmed ages ago iirc. He said that Ruo wouldn't be able to die because of the dragon souls stuck in his body. Honestly, Nicki's said/ done this so many times, I can't even bring myself to get upset this time around.

The Patreon members, or more specifically, the lunatics on Discord... According to my friend, when one of the members suggested that in the game we should have the chance to elevate the clan's arts to Transcendent (since, unlike Frog Art, the clan's arts are literally compatible with the MC's dao), one of the users responded with over 100 negative comments on the proposal, saying "it doesn't make sense", "why would we do this", "the MC isn't capable of this," "Nicky shouldn't allow this," "blah blah blah."

Sometimes i do wonder whether or not these people realize the genre of the IF they're playing. This is a ****ing xianxia, in my opinion the ultimate form of power fantasy and they're arguing against power ups?. I mean arguing about the details, how to acquire it, how significant it is etc etc is fine and understandable but they're arguing against it?. Like i'm genuinely just confused as to what is their view and expectation of this game. They say that this shouldn't be allowed, that the mc isn't capable of this. I say this is the barest ****ing minimum requirement needed to meet the expectation of the mc's circumstances. If an mc is given godlike powers then they should be able to perform godlike acts. It's as simple as that. I really hope niki don't listen to these people anymore man.

I don't think Niki even listens to that argument considering Niki gave the option to elevate Yuan Fang's art. I just think he's lazy af to include another branching option of power.
My thoughts are that he should write an event where MC elevates each of his clans arts. The kicks, demon finger, punches, the void step, the barrier, lighting stuff. And incorporate it into the dao choices and tri dao choices. Instead of the usual summoning giant hand, MC would use the flesh scorching kicks and such.
As you all know I have been a die hard POMA fan since the WIP was in it's infancy stage, and since then there's always up and down in the WIP. I used to write an essay glazing POMA and such but soon enough I stop after all of the bullshit Ruo pulled. Now I played it again and I must say it's certainly has improved a lot and it's great that Niki gave us the option to aura farm but I still hope that Niki will give us SOME ****ING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. I also hate the fact that stupid He Gang think he's out equal, I genuinely hope Niki gave us an option to cripple him in the next fight I seriously hate that guy. And regarding all of that DC snobs I don't think they know what Xianxia is? Even in the like of RMJI and various other Novels where MC is supposedly your average joe, THEY ARE STILL A ****ING MC, so they ofc got the MC treatment with having various OP abilities that can one shot people above their stages, but in POMA...that's the different story, we are supposedly the reincarnation of the ****ING Tang wei and have the most OP physique in existence which is the Chaos origin physique and we are suppose to be the only cultivator, but now cultivators start popping out of nowhere, I genuinely hope Niki don't forget that we are the MC not that Lizard child.
Before the 3v3, offer to help Yuan Fang. MC would then create a new improved art modelled after the art he demonstrates to us.
I used to be one the of biggest enthusiasts of thi shthole, now i don't even care that much. Dao ascension is pretty "linear" and the writing is still wacky, but i'm feeling way more invested, it has that same feeling that AC gives, where you actually feel immersed in the story and the progression. POMA is now like that crappy ahh manga that it is so fkn bad but the idea was good at first that you just go until it ends. Nicky keeps fkn over and over with his story telling, the game has a bunch of holes and almost everything and every update that is released, we read it and feel that it doesn't make any sense. I can't feel immersed reading this shi anymore, every single thing that happens you just can imagine Nicky's face while writing it. Basically it lost all his IF feeling for me
Yeah I agree I used to reread POMA several times a day since it was so immersive...I feel like POMA plot is all over the place and Niki wrote himself into the corner the moment he gave Ruo Dao and stuff,but the final nail is when he start introducing cultivator left and write,tbh now Jinlai is much better, POMA isn't what it used to be and he almost lost all the will to write it and not to mention all of that discord snobs
I feel like poma not having some kind of "central" plot, and right at the beginning introducing a higher realm where the real stuff happens is what brings it all crushing down - you just go from one random thing happening to another (while also getting humiliated by pretty much everyone) and that's it. No matter how fun interactions with Mei are, or whatever attempts there were at world building they are all meaningless. Agreed about Jinlai btw, it's a way better read.

It's to maintain the Heavens = bad agenda. Anything random that happens is the fault of the Heavens (Nicki). Anything that takes agency away from the MC is also the fault of the Heavens. It's all there to show that Tang Wei was right and that the MC is gonna fall into the same rabbit hole eventually. I think Tang Wei was just so close to discovering the author that he decided to smite him for convenience and start over with the MC.
(Obvious sarcasm, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's how Nicki views it actually.)

Yeah in the code he's called Sheng Jue I think. At least that's what it says when you develop the art for Yuan Fang. It sets it to shengjue_art.
