I guess Ruo keeps up because some Immortals will take her under their wings as soon as they see her.So again getting top resources niki as we know said people would have been at Ruo's parents door if they were outside poma World then the whole dragons inside her bullshit so yeah I can get why she can keep up till immortal emperor but yeah she will be stuck there and mc becomes a god funny enough if the story ever actually continued past NS then I can bet on it Ruo would even become a god somehow lol if the story was very written that far out. The heavens would probably would let Ruo become a god to counter mc lol that type of bullshit heavens loved this dao child so much they broke their rules kind of thing

This is the scale that Nikki has for Cultivation all stages before immortal also you can see even though there are some stages missing that you see in some other stories ,there are still plenty and it is also why I don't like how we got all these gods and **** in story so soon .Look there are 5 stages post Ns not counting immortals then immortal has whole lord,king and Emperor then we have gods too so yeah we meet something that far above so soon and we ourselves will never reach it hell we will only reach stage 3 out of atleast 10 if not more before someone says niki said mc will become god in record time that doesn't mean **** we will never see it his story ends at NS.1000275583.jpg

I take it as immortal stages too as till immortal can very well mean even in those stages or just the start regardless if the story was ever actually written out that way watch Ruo achieve godhood too somehow lol still it is all useless as we ain't getting anything post NS

He said until immortality because Ruo can't reach Godhood. So they'll keep up with MC until Immortal emperor which is the stage just before Godhood.

Is this something Niki posted? And also, can someone tell me what the equivalent for poma stages and cultivation stages are?

No way he can keep up without being a cultivator. Niki should have made it so that Ruo would keep up with MC until the peak of poma, after which his growth starts to slow down due to limitations of IE. Idk why Niki would sketch out that Ruo would keep growing until immortality unless he plans to make him a cultivator too.

I bet after MC reaching peak of PX, poma coordinates are going to be found or leaked by MC's actions or someone else via manipulation from outside and CF cultivators from powerfull clans all over the celestial empire would flood in to claim it their own. Only CF cultivator since anything above will destroy poma. These CF cultivators job will be to exert influence over poma and prepare it to become a true cultivation world or to consume and plunder it. It will be the perfect challenge for MC since they are true cultivators and are the next stage of opponents or antagonists for MC since MC might just be the strongest in poma by the time they reach CF. More factions will emerge, Demonic sects, Righteous sects like Yue clan and possibly the strongest immortals will intervene. Existing demonic and righteous clans will choose sides since they have no choice. Ruo would probably be taken under the wing of some Immortal promising him to rule over poma like Yue clan probably would do for us.

Unlike some here who are not happy that cultivators are meddling in poma, I see a lot of potential. Hopefully Niki delivers.

All this talk of ruo becoming a true cultivator and ascending past shangtian got me thinking. We know that you can't just become a true cultivator on your own. There's gotta be some otherworlder true cultivator to give you dantians and meridians. And i don't think that niki would suddenly give ruo dantians and meridians out of thin air and make some lame *** excuse as 'the heaven wills it' as thats just lazy writting. So that means that there has to be otherworlder true cultivator who sides with the imperials. And with how unyielding and arrogant yichen is, that will be difficult to write. Yichen would either need to swallow his pride and submit work with otherworlders or he needs to die and the tang clan becomes desperate enough to beg for help from otherworlders. Either of them would be an interesting read tbh

At this point it feels as if the story has gone totally off the rails. Even if I were to put aside all the Ruo glaze (which is, frankly, not really possible), and the plot armor, it feels as if the story at this point is way too convoluted to have any satisfactory ending for anyone (excepting patreons perhaps).

For one thing the Ruo glazing just feels so artificial, there is no real sense of rivalry except the MC being a rebel and both fighting (which is kind of the point of the Jianghu, in a way) and the entire thing about the Dao child and the heavens and stuff just feels so worthless now that we know that the story will conclude way before reaching any of the Celestial world. Unless the story gets 'episodic' updates or dlc in the celestial world, the entire struggle of the MC and all cultivators seem like a waste.
Now I am not really all the sure about the terminologies of this genre, so forgive me for my inevitable mistakes. I believe that it would have been much better if the story was limited to the wuxia (without the celestial realm and stuff) and thus more engaged in the brutality and the enormity of the poma world. However, with the introduction of celestial realms, dao, qi, cultivators, etc., no matter what the author does, the story will feel inconclusive and unsatisfactory.
Also, I think Ruo, even without the plot dao, seems like a really uninteresting character. With Jing, Mei, Ai, Tigress, Bohai or any of the others the characters feel remotely like people, but Ruo simply feels like an objective masquerading as a character.
Damn, I was hoping that the story would atleast continue somewhat into the wider world but this kinda killed the (already dead) game to me.

It's so strange that he's putting this much effort ahead considering that rn the last "fight" with them is literally back when MC was still early houtian in the demonstration event with the techniques, like, ffs if this much focus is being put on Ruo why not actually make us fight them again pre tournament, Jesus ever living christ.

Truth, rn, literally all you do is HEAR about Ruo doing this or that, not actually seeing it with your own two eyes, post coma all visually seen combat Ruo content is the heavenly form which lasts for a single paragraph while they fight First with their cousin, then you hop in and perform just as well as both against him, Hell, their own ****ing sword has more character then them at this point and the "romance" (inevitably getting scrapped) has nearly 0 events, Tigress got scrapped, and Mei Mei is literally impossible if you play a morally good character, Xeiwen is impossible if you're male, Caihong is just as irrelevant as Ruo, if not more, that only leaves ****ing Ai as the singular romance option for a male morally good character, this whole game is shaping up to be a circus disaster like A Tale of Heroes because the story essentially lost all direction because of those ******* Patreon members that ruined anything good about this.

Yeah those are also some important points. I truly don't want to be doomer, but the way that the entire game is moving in terms of the story and the personalities (or the lack thereof) of characters, I feel like Nicky should take a long step back and kinda just visualize the world more ig. For example, we know nothing of the geography of the land. This constant changing of routes, non-existent character romances, nonsensical rivalry between a sword and the MC(Ruo has no character except trying to be 'edgy' imo), and the author's incessant need to punish the MC or show them that they are an ant kinda gets on my nerve at this point.

As I said in a previous post of mine, this story has no sense of achievement left. One cannot forget the everyone related to the story is fictional except the author and the audience, and this feeling that no matter the achievement the POMA world does not seem to care at all just makes the world 'artificial'. Although I must add that the addition of POVs and the interaction with some characters after the Demon Executing Squad fight does introduce a few elements of this organic interaction between the MC's actions and the world, it seems to fall a bit short when paired with another bout of 'Look how weak and pathetic you are MC Muahahahaha!!'.

I held hope that there would be some redemption of this constant deglazing that the MC gets, but what with the story ending on NS, I think it's all just a little to late to save this boat. I do sincerely hope that I'm wrong, after all POMA is my first introduction to this genre of literature and what massively inspired me to write a world of my own. I just wish that the author would just take a break and just watch the story from a distance and, if not agree, then at least give these thoughts a try.

A testament to just how bad the state of poma has become. Lurkers who've been here for years with little interaction in this thread and the ones who were active in the past and not so anymore are now posting entire essays voicing their opinions.
