The part I hated was that bum mc couldn't even remember what happened

But honestly, I didn’t like that the demon could manipulate the MC’s thoughts to the point where they couldn’t even remember the voice. I thought Iron Will was supposed to prevent those kinds of mind control.
Well, I only played the evil route out of curiosity to see the Asura, but honestly, I think it was overhyped, and it couldn’t even defeat 5 PH Smh.

Yeah haven’t read it either, but I gave Niki the benefit of the doubt because I used to read so many of these novels and Mc is usually OP or in this case if you are an reincarnation usually have timely powerups. Mate even Ruo fall short now when there's 2 other people with Qi I remember YB word fondly where he said eventually Qi and meridian will become a norm (not Dao) but hey at least we have Dao and after much thinking I can't blame MC since he has virtually no guiding regarding Qi and Dao
If you’re referring to the person who uses Qi that we saw in the tournament, I’d say he is a special case. He mentioned that his powers were sealed and he said he wasn’t allowed to use more than 1% of his power, so it’s quite likely he is not even from this world or at least that’s how I understood it.
