This. Ruo is basically guaranteed to reach the Immortal stage, but there's nothing saying that it'll be a fast process. Thanks to their Physique, MC'll have a way easier time climbing the stage than Ruo.
Shadow Sovereign must be of the Song or the Zhao clan right? Which of them is the demon clan? Zhong is comparable to judgement sect i think acc to Niki. During the Rogue hunt, the prince seems to have animosity towards Wu heir, probably because of our unique circumstance and LB valuing us. Right then i thought maybe Shadow Sovereign is the grandpa of the prince? He did send assassins after us.
Which is weird no? He’s like known for something right? Idk because he has operations on mainland I don’t think they would be running if so. I think the rogues have inner politics problems. They do have multiple leaders, seems like Shadow wants MC out of the picture for some reason.

Also was the Zhao clan even mentioned by the other characters? Aside from the book in the library I don’t remember anyone on the game saying anything about them...ever...

If we enter the Rogue politics, It would mean a big shift in power. Whoever has MC's favour could have grip on the future. My take is that the Sovereign has his own agenda like granpa's has regarding us but is less subtle about it. While grandpa tends to do everything by himself, Sovereign tends to follow the direct path, eliminate competition ig.
It gets worse and worse cuz we have enemies from all corner within and outside poma. TW wasnt lying ig. I also think none of the immortal sects would be wiling to take in MC just for the wrath it might bring on them from the heavens. So yes, Wu heir is truly alone. Unlike TW, we dont have a Blood King to guide us. But we have TW's memories tho. Only if it were accessible by will.
