And you are in a tourny, where people fight, you can literally decapitate someone. Do you believe that it is unreasonable for the su twins, to use their formation?how about their arts?
I mean they intended to harm you, is that not enough justification to cripple and kill them?

I mean yeah it is reasonable to kill or maim the Spear Twins during the fight, and they're trying to do the same to you. Most variations of the fight have you gravely injure them.

A cat doing you minor harm because you annoyed him is not a life or death situation like these other scenarios.

If someone took your dao seed, it would be reasonable for you to crash out, even though you can still xultivate, you have been severely put at a disadvantage and are weakened, and if you wish tk get revenge on tbe person who took it, it would be understandable

Except the dao seed isn't some sentient spirit you go out to enslave. It's an intrinsic part of you.

And I never claimed he's not justified in wanting revenge. I just dislike the notion that it is a demonic or immoral act to do these things in the heat of battle.

Plus with the Seed example, Ruo would kind of have to go out of their way to actually cripple you. Whereas Muchen kind of exposed his trump card of his own volition to win the fight. Which again you absorb it to defend yourself from the wisp, you don't even have to go out of your way to do it.

Onxe again if you want to steal the wisp and cripple the guy, it aint no problem, but it sure aint a nice thing to do

But jokes aside, I believe it's not just me, but by the story, Wu Heir seems to be indeed intended to be, not necessarily demonic in the sadistic concept, but what you would expect from the reincarnation & self of the "Mad God".
The "dark" encircling us, also the blurry orb after the exposition showing the future. In multiple times through the book implying that our "emotions" are affected by TW's.

I don't even have to go that far, the fact that even "good" runs are walking towards this with Ai death, the development of the Devil and this narrative of TW 2.0...

This will allow you win the opening tourney and get the prestige/Artefact/Ruo relationship using Chao's Robe and Mei's Phoenix paste by choosing the right options during the fights.
3) In the first free-roam after this go to "Rock Gambling." and gamble here until having earned less than 10,000. For example, you have 4,600 Gold, gamble until reaching 14,500, but don't reach the 10k mark, let it to the second part of the book.
4) Now you have enough money to maximise your combat attributes through pills. After Ruo fight, with this build, you'd have 15 CON, 7 STR and 0 in VIT and AGI, leave it exactly as it is, go to the Alchemy pavillion and use 20 low-grade impure pills in VIT, 20 low-grade impure pills in AGI. 13 low-grade impure pills in STR(If not enough just use a bit more) and 5 high-grade impure pills in CON.
