I think Niki is being sarcastic to avoid spoilers to plot points he hasnt decided on yet. He has said something like this which undermines MC so many times but the game does not reflect everything he says. Wu Heir is definitely no bum in the game even though they arent the best they could be, i think that challenge narratively makes poma compelling. Id lose interest in some capacity if MC was beating everying left and right without any struggle. I still havent read an if which does an OP MC justice. So at this point, Its best to ignore Niki. I bet he's doing this on purpose so that he could torture those people who read his work for free on a pirate site lmao.

I've read it and i liked it tbh. But it still doesnt satisfy me in regards to being an OP character. Probably because the MC is restricted by their past. Experimented kid turned OP and has been in servitude to the people that tortured them. This schtick has been done multiple times in IFs and it doesnt satisfy me much if at all. Even in a superhero genre, its difficult for the authors to make the MC compelling and OP. Unsupervised lore and story was interesting but i cant really connect with the MC and the support characters, And MC is nowhere near being OP.

Even about protection, Wu Heir will be backed by some of the strongest Factions of the Celestial Realm once he leaves(Wupai sect and the Divine Moon Clan so far).
Though I don't necessarily agree about the "won't have any challenge" part, after all we are on the brim of a war in the Celestial Realm with SLM awaken and the dispute for TW's remains. Besides the fact that even with protection I imagine that Wu Heir will still be hunted by some.
Yes, that was my initial assumption as well, but my friend (not the kind one who enlightened me, but the miserable one who gives me this information) said that the context of the conversations going around was something like, “Who would turn down a guaranteed future god as a disciple?” or something along those lines. That’s why it doesn’t make much sense, since several questions arise: “If a god, or even just an Immortal Emperor, protects the MC, who would dare threaten him?”, "If you’re looking to strengthen your clan/sect or raise a disciple, why would you refuse someone who is guaranteed to become a god in record time?", "If what Sovereign and the other gods ‘liked’ TW and what they want most is another god to strengthen humanity, why would they deny all support to the best possible candidate?"
