Path of martial arts: leaked sneak peaks, and discussing thread

I’m also against advancements in the middle of battle. Once is an epic moment; twice is pushing it. Besides, Ruo is a damn MA—it would be humiliating to need to advance just to defeat him.
I feel like it's inevitable that we'd get to advance in our final fight against Ruo (or have just them advance on us as a parallel to our first fight). Mostly because this is basically the most anticipated battle for this book so Nicky has to have something special happen and transformations/new powers in the middle of battle is always hype

It's unacceptable if ruo matches max stats mc
Mc should stomp that ***** easily
I disagree here. I’m not defending him or anything, but while I believe his base stats won’t be at 150 (with the probable exception of AGI), I’m sure that once he’s transformed and equipped with arts, his stat checks will be well above 150.

Not that this is a huge problem—at this point, anyone, even if focused on body refining, will likely have enough qi to spend on a good infusion or at least some berserker pills.

By the way, has anyone here ever tried doing pure Body Refining? Like, with 0 qi in the dantian? Does it even work, since if your qi hits 0, it’s game over?

I mean, being a pure Qi Refining character doesn't work, since there are stat checks that are simply unavoidable, and PER is important.

So far, Niki seems unable to write tactical fights between two strong characters. Its always 'i throw this, you defend and you throw that'. It would be nice to have a 'i throw this but im actually setting up a second throw when you attempt to throw back'. I like that in AC the MC actually feels tactical, using their brain i mean. Wu Heir is always "me dum dum throw rock...no damage? then i throw big rock"

Beat Ruo into advancement, and beat him again after that. Thats what i want. And most of all, ****ing throw hands. I thought Wu clan was famous for h2h? Why the **** MC barely use their close combat skills (it just seems non existent)? Write a segment where Ruo dominates in close to midrange with his sword, MC dominates like a boss in close range. Full on beatdown, counter his moves, judo throws, muay thai, krav maga, go Big boss on his ***. Let Wu Heir try to remember the basics of cqc. Show MC is more than their heritage. That they are the best at their level h2h. A strength thats solely their own.

It's impossible, atleast it was for me, I keep dying with fights that waste your qi automatically lol, and I can't do mei route without using Qi

Like COP is supposed to make Wu Heir the Yu or UI daniel of their verse as it grants both perfect martial arts and perfect execution.images (27).jpeg

I don't want another advancement win if Ruo is PH I want to humiliate and humble him at qi refining stage. I would be pissed if we need to advance to beat ph Ruo that **** would be embarrassing
I can already see the Wu Heir being slandered on the forums and discord as being the Bum of the century if they needed to advance to Qi Sea to beat a PH Ruo.

“Congrats bro, you were threatened so badly by Ruo despite having COP, Qi, Tang Wei’s insights, and real body refinement techniques, you needed a whole realm difference just to beat a Martial Artist who advanced 1 minor realm. You are so strong bro, you beat a Peak Houtian, a stage 10x weaker than a beginning Qi Refining cultivator in the outside world”.

Buh dude still has the shangtian spell stuff doesn't he?

Edit: saw that he can't use them s level spells

That's the problem, MC is too strong at this point. To even hope to equal us, Ruo needs to breakthrough to ph and use dragon form. She will advance to ph before fighting us due to Yang Gan or the Second.
Honestly don't mind that at all, imagine ruo using everything and still getting dogwalked by qi sea holding back mc. That's the fight I'm talking about

If anything, there should be a route where the opposite happens, Ruo advance to EX while we don't and WE STILL WIN. That might be one of the most hype things ever.
Wu heir's inner dialogue if Dragon Ruo Advances to EX and Wu Heir's stats are all 200 "The one who stands before you might be an early xiantian, she might be a dao child, she might even be a dragon but still there is not an iota of fear in your mind, your heart doesn't skip a beat, as if your body already knows that it isn't inferior in the slightest. No Houtian can fight even the weakest xiantian and the humanoid dragon before you is far from the weakest, you know that and yet still when you look into those reptilian eyes, you know that the divine blood that runs through your veins cannot help but feel contempt at this so called invincible princess and when you clash you can't help but grin, 'Victory is already mine'."
You're forgetting the Xiantian aura effect that doesn't let you heal well. I'd say sorry mood mc could achieve it tho

Lack of intelligent stat, hopefully qi Sea will unlock one

Ruo will probably advance to PH against Yang Gan and EX against the MC

Tbh I'm kinda wondering if he won't achieve sudden enlightenment and reach Sprout stage before us. Sprout gives like an artifact right? Ruo would obviously have a Daosword or something like that
