Btw, I wonder if Nicky will ever change us having to switch between body/dao exp for training. The amount of exp seem too little to me to justify not getting both but not sure.

To be honest these new numbers make me feel a lot less impressive. Especially what he's saying about Long Chen. Are we honestly giving him the zombieman build where he just gets annihilated for 3 days and then wins? I'm sure the arena must have rules to prevent wins of this caliber lol. Imagine Bohai getting progressively more pissed off as more and more of the audience leave but he's responsible to stay and watch as LC gets violated

I can understand him changing stuff, but he barely sticks with what he says. He changes it like every 6 months and we stop taking everything he says seriously. I think he's worried about isolating the MC in the story too much. So everytime the MC gets stronger, they move away and away from the recurring characters. This ****s with the romances, and side character content. Hence why i think he brought two insanely strong characters as ROs so MC can play the chase game for the long term without the ROs losing relevance.
Anon does great in projecting the feeling of MC progressing fast and at the same time maintaining the relevence of the main cast who are mostly caught in the dust. The problem compared to AC is that POMA is just bigger in powerscaling, AC is relatively grounded and even then the MC is not really as strong as the heavy hitters without it being unsatisfactory because we dont really interact with said heavy hitters in a martial sense. That and the MC in POMA being the uniquest of unique mofo's around who grows in power like crazy which adds to the perception of main cast keeping up with them as absurd.
Thus i believe he's making sure Tigress is strong but not as strong as Wu Heir, lagging behind just enough to be relevent in the story. Niki should have invested more on characters who are important in other ways than in martial arts, like Mei and Xiwen, latter who's now axed as an RO. Poor Ai got caught up inbetween powerscaling morons like Niki and irrelevant npcs, finally deciding to subject herself to fridging.
..incase you guys think fridging here means literally icing herself, it also means this ironically.
I don't mind him changing things, but everytime I see these martial artists get cracked I can't help but wonder how terrible we'd do with inner energy lol

I think the change will be good. He is inflating the numbers again but this time, at least, to make things more consistent.
So instead of 60-range checks to go toe-to-toe against DES(That now will be five 80-100 MAs) - while base Baihu is 100 -, perhaps we will have a real punitive fight for Demonic MC.
100+ checks in DES...
How is everyone going so much over the limit, though? If it's a matter of pills, I want them too.
Give 200+ checks to DES and I still violate those losers.

I wonder that If you were playing as Chu Muchen, What stat checks would Wu Heir have? If we are talking 200 in every stat, maxxed out tri dao, 3600 qi, Best possible robes, rings, amulets etc.? What kind of stat check would something like RAF have with a maxxed out Wu Heir?

This number inflation is also making me worry about other scenes and characters/their growth rate.
Like, imagine the Rogue ambush. Do we just get destroyed by everyone having 80+ in stats at that point or are they still the same?

That's Niki's plot armor, 5v1 with maxxed out karmic arts and we can't even use a devil breakout (Something many demonic Martial artist use as a trump card)? I don't need devil to beat those inbred trash, Niki is just Larping because he has no idea how strong Wu Goat is.

Oh my God bruh... That bum *** savage who never had a single one win in all of her showing is someone we have to accept as in the range of 'absolute top tier'.
I can accept her being in the low end of the genius tier since she did use martial arts as a mortal during our first fight, but even then that would already be the maximum limit of my suspension of disbelief. The artifact CANNOT be that good.
No one except Ruo, We Heir, First, Second, and that outsider that wants you as his roommate should be in this tier.
