If Seven is a girl, the perspective feels different. Although the cheating bugs me. I hope it is just a "being seen with other people" instead of "doing the hanky panky with other people".

I am gonna hold your hand when I say this but....they did the hanky panky. Amy mentioned both in a patreon qna and the Tumblr how seven is demisexual and how the hook ups made them realise that they didn't really enjoy it. (Iirc it's also mentioned in the game? Though I am not too sure about that)

Edit : lowkey glad to see someone calling it cheating. (It may not exactly be cheating but I put it on the same level) Like sleeping around w people so quick after a long term relationship really shows how little the other person actually meant to you.

Let's just say MC carries their band and Seven's band is better all round. High stats MC fighting with a debuff lol. I wanted to play as an MC who would leave his band and become an independent creator, especially since there's a lot of dialogues we can choose where it says we might be better off alone.

Bit of a break from Infamous and The Night Market (this one is such a huge disappointment cause the world sounds fascinating but the story and the ROs are all so... yuck including that bog-witch girl Hazel that has an F/F short with the vampire lady, it seems everyone in The Night Market is into each other except the MC, I seriously think if MC isn't there everyone would just **** each other out in an endless orgy and become like that one massive creature in the Fear and Hunger game 눈_눈)

Broken Fable. Now that's a cool IF, which sadly hasn't seen any updates for a while. But I have a few gripes with it, like yeah sure the title is Broken Fable but that doesn't mean you gotta butcher all the myths like that damn it (ง ͠ಥ_ಥ)ง Not to mention that Sun Wukong The Monkey King doesn't have monkey ears and tail AND THAT IS A VIOLATION OF THE LAWS OF NATURE ITSELF HOW COULD YOU MAKE WUKONG WITHOUT AT LEAST GIVING HIM MONKEY EARS AND TAILS HE FEELS LIKE A BASIC OVERPOWERED SHAPESHIFTER WHEN HE'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE!

Then there's Lucifer. Lucifer the fallen angel that in this IF fought horrible demons in hell, but then got clapped by the glorified pyromaniac with a flamboyant title (the Ruby Praetor, seriously...) I cringed HARD when he managed to snap from Lucifer's mind-f*ckery and Lucy's all like "whuh-what what happened? he broke out from my illusion!" THE MERE MORTAL HUMAN VS THE THOUSAND YEARS OLD DEVIL WHO FOUGHT DEMONS IN LITTERAL HELL AND THE MERE MORTAL HUMAN WON?! What kind of bullshittery is this? Not to mention I use mod to up the stats ⁽⁽(੭ꐦ •̀Д•́ )੭*⁾⁾ Now to be fair I didn't see what happens after that cause I skimmed everything, so maybe along the line Lucifer gets back at that praetor's ***.

Other than those two, Arthur is okay. Ishtar is also pretty neat. Haven't tried Janus, Pele, and Zeus (will never try Zeus sry but being intimate with Greek mythology has me want to vomit just seeing his name alone, wish we could play as other god instead like Ares but fortunately God Syndicate exists ⊹₊⟡⋆ (˵ ¬ᴗ¬ ˵) ⊹₊⟡⋆

Yeah, I can't stand when authors go out of their way to coddle specific characters. If you're going to write a toxic, dubious, or just straight-up evil character, then commit. I don't mind Ranin that much because I know he's going to end up as a groveling mess at some point, but his actions can't really be justified, in my opinion. Even if the game were a sitcom, he'd probably still be a hated character whose actions come off as cruel. I think the author mentioned something about Ranin's messages about the breakup not delivering, but still, the way they humiliated the MC publicly and then let them be disrespected by their coworkers and the bartender was just crazy.

Look I hate linear IFs so much I will avoid them like the plague, but there has to be a middle ground. I feel like plenty of WIPs are too ambitious with so many different paths and routes that you have to wait forever to get another update. Take broken fable I will only play as Wukong so I’m getting 1 update a year basically to top it off author even admitted to getting tired of writing same scene with different variations so much he made another wip. We have another example the thousand of us, so many different powers some of the unpopular one’s will be screwed over. Should’ve just had a set amount with potential for dlc. War of the divines like 6 months to finish a prologue where it doesn’t matter because you die . I’m going to be honest if I replay a game I’m most likely choosing the same options every time that’s just who I am. I just can’t bring myself to replay a game. Anyone remember duskguard? Wonder if it’s still getting worked on, was so ambitious with so many different variations of conversations we got like a big update that was like 2 pages lol. The biggest offender the game that was hyped so much so many words I saw it everywhere on hosted games tried it and said that’s it? One Knight Stand it’s not a bad game, actually really enjoy it I just feel like nothing happened yet after all those words I was disappointed. I don’t care to try out everything it has to offer it’s a me problem. Going to be honest I will be surprised if any of those reach completion, they will get so burned out it’s not even funny. Moral of the story it sucks when they do one path at a time and you only play a specific path so you have to wait like 9 months for an update to reach the other routes point. Yes. Fallen Hero is something special. And the author, I suspect he has some superpowers, that he can handle all paths and choices and remains motivated to comment on this project even though it has been going on for so many years.

Ugh, Gods and Villains... that IF has so much potential but the latest update has an error 500 in it and it's still not fixed! Also, it is impossible to reach the author cause the CoG forum page was closed on February 2024, the Tumblr asks is also closed, and it's not like he's active either but guess what? IT HAS A PATREON like... (ㆆ_ㆆ) seriously????

Heh, at this point GTA 6 would come out before any of those WIPs are completed. It's really funny too cause they all like to whine about how they're just one penniless person writing and coding but they're the ones who bit more than they could chew, the readers have "high" expectations because the authors themselves are putting out ambitious projects when most of them, in their own words, just learned how to code. Then they have the audacity to create Patreon! (ノ°Д°)ノ︵┻━┻

Don't they realize they're complicating things and adding more burden to themselves by creating Patreon subscriptions?! They're now munching on other people's money and even if they don't think so themselves, they are actually obligated to write side pieces on top of continuing their main-project since they are being paid monthly to do just that. And they like to say "oh, it's just one to five dollars a month" like b*tch one dollar can buy me a day's worth of food where I am if I spend it right (ꐦ ಠ皿ಠ )
