Nah, medieval peasants do know how to read and write in their own language. As far as I know (I have not known far), the myth of they're all illiterate was because they don't know Latin (⌐□_□)wasnt talking about them speaking like a nonbinary baristajust meant that for me, something like how golden rose does it is the best way. i doubt they would speak with those long *** words anyways, having in mind they barely knew how to read. or were medieval peasants just built different?
tbh i guess i do prefer not understanding what they're saying rather than having people speaking like that. At least when i dont understand **** i just assume the author knows what theyre doing and wrote a good story. When they start acting like therapists, however...
The biggest contender of characters acting like therapists would be The King's Hound, it is somehow worse than The Soul Stone War... there's just something so degrading about the way the MC is treated in that IF “(ノ _ <,, ) Don't get me started on the constant use of "love" and "dear"
This is the opposite side of those edgy IFs where the author straight-up does not care for the MC the way Marvel writers don't care for Spiderman (justice for my boy (╥__╥) Even a baby is not coddled as much as this. It's weird
