As I'm sure with many others I'm fine with adult ads if it means we get to keep the site. Maybe make a patreon so we can donate to help support the site and maybe also get ad free access. I don't think $60 a month will honestly be that hard to get too and I'm sure we could get it much higher so that there's room to upgrade.

Corn ads are definitely the way to go. It's a pirating site, after all. And I think we'd all rather cringe for a second then cry for a lifetime if the site shuts down--and most of us have malware protection and antivirus already installed because we're downloading this stuff.

Also like Frozen Death said, I don't know if Patreon or Kofi would even be viable, not because of the IP address though since you could find a way to ping that, but because of the nature of this site and how it technically "steals content". They might not be down with that.

yeah a patreon might get flagged. i think corn ads are the way.
plus donations are unreliable and, no offense, a big part of this site's userbase is broke mfs

Tbh, I personally won't mind the 18+ ads. I've already been through enough pirating sites to feel jaded about it.

As long as it's not that invisible pop-ups that get in your face every 15 seconds or something.

Seeing some nsfw scenes while browsing the forum is a small prices to pay if it means it'll keep the sites afloat.

They would have to make a post on this site though to funnel people to the Patreon, and it only takes one screenshot from somebody for Patreon to be alerted to the true nature of the funding. Especially since there's a lot of links to locked Patreon content that is stolen from other users (e.g: the IF authors).

A lot of people from CoG forums and reddit come here--especially since Dashingdon shut down because this site holds most of the lost stories that Dan saved.

That's true however I wouldn't recommend posting the link to the patreon on this site anyways but only on the discord with a disclaimer that the patreon is "only" for the drawing or whatever it is for legal reasons lol. What they choose to then spend their hard earned money on is then up to them

If you've seen kemono's ads you'd think you were on p*rnhub, actual cam shows playing on the side, but everyone accepts that as the price to pay for the content they offer. Many users on here(including me) are also thirsty mf's who already love NSFW content, so I'm sure nobody would mind. Losing this site would be more tragic than seeing 18+ ads... I say let the ads roll

If we put ads and you guys use adblockers then there would be no revenue at all. We earn money when users see ads and we don't earn when users don't see ads (which obvious adblockers won't let). No offense but I thought it was basic science.

People are already hosting download links on sites that have popups/redirects and ads, personally don't see any problem at all with 18+ ads and such here.

With some type of daily update that measures approximately how many more views are needed to run the website?

Wouldn't it be possible to do both? To allow 18+ ad (since most seem ok with it) AND give us opportunity to donate? Since lots of heart and effort have been invested into this site and community, it could be sound to have multiple solutions in case something goes awry again.

Ads don't matter, the most important thing is that the site stays up.
