I think my first IF was back in 2022 or sum, it was Superstition on Itch.io, I was in the same boat as you and then I learned this new term called "Interactive Fiction" and from then on I spent days just going through all of them at the same time lolI got into IFs during the pandemic when ofc being a teen with no other options to distract urself was expected.
I remember doing an extensive search through playstore in hopes to find smt good enough, till I stumbled across my first IF game which was "choice of the dragon" lol. I read almost every IF back then from both hosted games nd choice games. good times honestly.
It's familiar to me for sum reason but I can't remember the name eitherFuuuuuuck... I think my first wip that I read was a few years ago? Like, three? Four? But anyhow, it was an abandoned wip, which I didn't know at the time, since I didn't know how all of that worked. I though that all of those were like full games, but little did I know
I can't even remember a name. I just remember that it was something along the lines of, you are a retired detective or something, with some supernatural elements I think? Though before that, I was aware of VtM ones, but they haven't pulled me into it all. It was the detective one that was a stepping stone for me
Yeah... And the best part, this was an old one. I remember that I saw that it was published for some time, in 2020 something, and that was just left like that for like a year. It's familiar to me for sum reason but I can't remember the name either.
Shame so many projects got abandoned. There were a lot with potential
The Magium was what got me into IFsWas it always a love for it? Or something else?
For me, I'm just autistic af and I have a fixation on games with choices since I was a kid lol.
Same here! The Magium was what got me into IFs
