Wayhaven's Update+ this week, I’ve been reading over what I’ve written for the next chapter in prep to dive back into it and thought this was a fun little M moment from one of the choices you can pick…
My body tenses tight enough it makes my limbs ache, and my hands clench to the point I can feel my nail bite into my palms.
"Didn't I literally say not to freak out?" Mason/Morgan groans, rolling his/her eyes and stepping closer. "Come on. The quicker we get this done, the quicker I can get out from under all of this."
I nod slowly. "Right. Yeah."

There are two ways for Chapter 6 to open--and which you get depends on which mythosi variant you are!
All the choices here except for Esme + Emeline are locked behind a stat check... which does, in fact, mean it's possible for your companions to dislike you so much, they refuse to help your MC out after their surgery.
... talk about rough.
The Syfyn paragraph is stat-dependent as well... so...
