Welcome ladies, gentlemen and everything in between tooooo... The Market! But not just any market, I'm afraid. No siree, it is a market unlike any other. One that lacks daylight.

One could almost call it a... Night Market? Eh? Ehhhh???

Lmao, alright. I'll be the first to admit. That intro was cringe. #sorrynotsorry

We return to you today to bring that leak tally up by 1 and give you the good ol' "18". And what better way to hit the same number as the age of majority than with The Night Market!

Happy to report that the updated demo for A Mage Reborn 2 (version 1.9 now) has been uploaded to cogdemos. This update rounds out the remainder of the schoolhouse scene, including now the Eli, Yu, and sit-by-yourself-by-the-pond forks. These three scenes ended up being massive, the three of them coming out to be 22.6k words altogether. Spoiler alert, but this includes two flashback sequences (in case there was ever any doubt what my favorite literary device is, ha). One with Eli and Sister (on the Eli path, naturally), and one with the White Fangs (on the pond path). Additional content on that one if the mage romanced either Leon or Ilya in Book 1. Really really proud of how these scenes turned out, excited for you to experience them!

F's scene feels pitifully small now relative to the others, so I'm probably going to do a rewrite/expansion for it somewhere down the line. It has always been the intent that F's romance would develop more slowly vs. Yusuha's and especially Eli's, given their different starting relationships with the mage, but it could still use more forward momentum I think.

But I digress. With the schoolhouse segment completed, we're about halfway through Chapter 9 now. There will be one more (brand new) plotline to wrap up in Thulrum, and then it's off to Kyuhan + Jiasei (which will largely stay the same as the old demo, albeit with refinements) and Kantena (which will experience a huge overhaul). As for what lies beyond...you'll have to wait and see. :D

Define "Tomorrow"

Most would call it the day after today. Correct? By that definition, the "tomorrow" mentioned in my last post(which was on the 1st) would have been the 2nd. Alas, today is now the 3rd, which implies I lied. Correct?

For you can see, time zones are finicky. I am still on the 1st. It is you who is wrong.

For I am a perfect human being who did not forget. No sir. Never once. In fact, I forgive all of you for being wrong.

Regardless, Thomas and I are happy to bring the notch up +1 to 19.
