I actually really enjoy A Mage Reborn Book 2, and I genuinely enjoy the rewrite more than the original demo. I just wish that the MC would actually think about their past more, their old companions are hardly even thought about, let alone mentioned, which feels kinda odd considering we spent an entire book with them

I think it's because we're only getting used to it all, and a bunch of new stuff is constantly being dumped on us (seeing Eli again and stuff like that), but all of that will change once we either march out, or the trio comes looking for us.
