I like this theory, a voice rings out in your mind, a powerful, domineering and Truthful voice: "she is guilty, she wants to conceal the truth, she works for the enemy" It really fits, It also gives strenght to the theory that chu aiguo was kicked out because he was loyal to the empire and the whole sect is scheming with the rogues.

This is a good theory. In fact, it's spectacular. It would be incredibly cool. I hadn't imagined this possibility.
I also think it would be interesting if Devil was associated with the other stat, Honorable/Devious, like, if it's "Honorable", Devil would genuinely try to help the MC (both Good and Bad), and if "Despicable", Devil would try to take control.
I was more thinking on the lines of
Honest = Straightforward devil/just destroys stuff if hes let out / Devious = Subtle, manipulative devil
Righteous = Likes and wants to help MC / Demonic = Hates and wants to take over MC
That seems right, in demonic route he's literaly hating calling you a pathetic loser, while in ai route he seems to be focousing on exposing the truth and the traitors.

Yeah well, these are very different circunstances. In both he is feeding mc on his instrusive thoughts, on the fight and attacks his pride about being trashed around, and on the other he attacks his sense of justice and fairness... now that i said it it makes more sense lol. Maybe you are right. It alligns with what xiwen said "killing people is bad for your karma"
But still the "good" demon still wants mc to lose control and have a breakout so it doesn't change much at the end, they both just attack what hurts the mc. Being pride and strenght or justice and fairness, they use it as tools.
The Yang's use devil break out to power up. So their not really a foreign entity, their part of you. If your mentor is Bohai then I imagine the demon is more prominent in the plot because it's part of your training to reign it in. I think good MC doesn't have a devil break out route, the sneak peak is probably from different route.
In the Bad route, the Devil manifests itself in an extremely difficult situation, in the fight against the Demon Executing Squad. Then the stage ends.
But in the Good route, there isn't really an extremely difficult situation, not even the fight with Liu Mogui or against the seven of the Havoc Sect (they weren't nearly as strong or with perfect teamwork as the DES). I believe that the extreme situation will be the confrontation against the dozens of PHs, and there the Devil will form on the Good route and the Bad route if the MC has avoided the DES.

it's kinda crazy how many advantages you get just for being consistently evil lol. Just having Mei as your RO gives you so much good sheet. BH fight, 100k gold, 15 qi, +9k stat limits like damn is there anything this btch can't do?
And then as if that wasn't enough Bohai comes in clutch with a OP transformation AND 150k gold.
I mean, we can date Mei as a good alligned too, i also dont think the constant devil breaks are worth asura and i beated the six havoc members on my own but i get it, the appeal of everyone shitting their pants after you slay the demon squad is irresistible, also evil mcs have dao forms transformations which is ****ing RAW.

Eeeeh sure you can romance her as a righteous MC for reasons, but it's going to be some really flimsy excuse cuz she's beyond amoral.
Besides why is this stuff all locked behind romancing her? She even outdoes Guo at moneymaking and that's supposed to be his thing
