It should doesI wonder will the new Yutai fight scene checks also changes the pov dialogue
From what I remember, there are multiple variables within the povs that records prior actions/results. Those variables determine what kind of dialogue you get in the povs. Then Nicky still need to write new pov lines for the new results of the fight scenes. It should does
Otherwise what would be meaning of changing it ?
sooo, less health is reduced? or he actually rewrote the scenes in which you have absurd stats? There are still no Crit Stat Check Enders. If you have average stats, the fight is practically the same as before, but if you have absurd stats, you can practically beat a weakened Yutai without difficulty.
Am i the only one who wants him to continue to main story with the new system for now? He can replace the old system and also fill in the wip events as the last thing he does before publishing the IF. That way, it might give replay value for previous readers and actually keep something fresh for when the whole game releases. Besides he can focus on that soley instead of putting a pause to the story in the middle of important events. From what I remember, there are multiple variables within the povs that records prior actions/results. The extra work to implement that across the game so far might put a pause on the main plot progress.

I guess you forgot about the era where he reworked the mechanics every update destroying all our saves every month while still pushing the story forward. You can't say that Nicky completely rewrote the fight, it was more about adding more options. Here's an example:sooo, less health is reduced? or he actually rewrote the scenes in which you have absurd stats?
How does the crit check work? Is it like a temp variable within the scene? You can't say that Nicky completely rewrote the fight, it was more about adding more options. Here's an example:

This is basically the original scene, the text is the same, only the stat checks are new. In this case, not getting the Crit on the first and failing on the second means taking the original route.

Now this is the new scene, in case you get the Crit. Something similar happens in practically every other scene of the fight.
Look, programming isn't my specialty so I could be wrong, but I'm going to talk about how I think it works based on what I've seen. How does the crit check work? Is it like a temp variable within the scene?
Doubt it, Ruo first fight is more story events, we had to get beaten and humiliated to advance during the fight. Plus that made sense, Ruo whole thing was he was trained and raised with more opportunities than MC he wasn’t even trying and stat checks proved it. So nah too early these fights make no difference when using IE. These are for when you get Qi after coma I believe. I hate Ruo and even I think first fight is correct he should be far above MC at that point just based on life trainings he had.Would our first fight with ruo and tigress will change as well ?
Will humiliation finnally end ?
Yes. Even when he becomes an EH and has higher stats than Ruo, Ruo still manages to hold his own thanks to skill.Doubt it, Ruo first fight is more story events, we had to get beaten and humiliated to advance during the fight. I think skill is a part of it, but rather it's more of his superior body even as a mortal. He was clearly way faster and stronger than mortal MC. When MC adv to EH, that body at first seemed to manage to hold up, but eventually it couldn't. Even his peak mortal body couldn't handle an EHs speed and strength.Yes. Even when he becomes an EH and has higher stats than Ruo, Ruo still manages to hold his own thanks to skill.
I think the only thing that could be changed for the better in that fight would be for the MC to land a single blow, even if it's something like "Ruo got distracted" or "a lucky hit". I'm only saying this for two reasons, because it's kind of lame to have stats at their mortal maximum but not use them, even for a single blow, and because the fight is too humiliating even if it makes sense. I think it would be really cool for MC to land at least one blow before turning Houtian, to humble Ruo just a bit at the very beginning.
ahh ok thanks gYou can't say that Nicky completely rewrote the fight, it was more about adding more options. Here's an example:

.....while that is a reasonable take I am frankly quite disappointed that your ruo hate wasn't able to somehow find flaws in that fight.....I don't think you should be called ruo's number 1 hater anymore.Doubt it, Ruo first fight is more story events, we had to get beaten and humiliated to advance during the fight. If that was to happen then ruo would be effortlessly dogwalked by eh mcYes. Even when he becomes an EH and has higher stats than Ruo, Ruo still manages to hold his own thanks to skill.
