Vendetta was such a good one... But also, aren't we a little grown in that one? I don't think we're a kid per se

I remember Vendetta, I enjoyed it a lot but I thought Ash was our actual cousin because the MC keeps calling his/her mom Aunt, was a bit odd.

The comment she's responding to is relatively tame and didn't warrant responding to (if it all) with blatant aggression, the tag below is also strange because it assumes a thing the dude(tte) never said, it's also plainly an opinion that they don't really demand anything in, also, besides that, the Tumblr of hers doesn't have many detractors that I could see so she's just being aggressive for literally zero reason.

Everytime I see the Author's responses on tumblr I lose a lot of motivation to keep up with the WIP even though I like it

Special mention to the dead ones: Vendetta (I remember we could play as the MC as a child in flashbacks, not really a full childhood arc, but let me mention Vendetta anyway), The Wroth Ode, and Children of Iseir.

Choices wasn't even so bad (pre being sold to an AI company). A Courtesan of Rome and It lives series are still gems.

I haven't played choices in years but I didn't know they'd been sold to an ai company, although I shouldn't be surprised atp

Don't insult my GOAT. There is no biological relation between Ash and MC in Vendetta. MC only calls Ash's Mother "Aunt" because she was always around and a close friend of MC's father.

They've been sold for quite a while now. All their recent stuff is purely ai. The app went on an insane decline so quickly after the old owners were bought out.

I believe that as that is what happened to the love island game essentially, although without being brought out - they laid off all their writers part way through creating a season and has pretty much been using ai since.

I think the last time I touched choices was 2021/2022ish, but I couldn't get a modded apk to work for gems or whatever it was anymore so gave up because I'm poor but also won't play without the paid options, and then I found IF. I just looked it up and they were acquired in 2024 so a few years after I stopped playing.
