Honestly the reason I chose to stay neutral is I don’t like to be a pawn and honestly both sides are going to eventually betray MC I feel like. Rogues are already shady, but the way some Tang speak through me off. First Aunt Tang saying she will let MC live because there’s still use for them. Ruo threatening MC after finding out the truth “I’m going to stop you” feels like they have the wrong idea and think we are literally Tang Wei in a literal sense of having same plan and same ideas. Some might do, but I don’t think Yichen would let MC live after they use us for all they can. Rogues nothing needs to be said we all know they are shady lol. Also doesn’t this seem strange? I don’t think Niki would be so obvious that it’s the rogues but it does make sense since most Ai romancers would be more on rogues side.

This time your arguments were better, but it doesn't refute me completely. Take a look:

You wrote "I used it to invalidate your [...] if we use him as a basis, the 'unpredictable' becomes 'predictable' point". Trying to attack the basis of my argument, saying that using Ruo's past growth to predict its current level is flawed, but you don't prove that it's flawed or how it's flawed, I based my estimate on concrete events in history, and you haven't demonstrated why those events wouldn't be valid as a reference. The two and a half years is a solid reference precisely because it's Ruo we're talking about, Hao Fan said that Ruo trained like a fanatic, non-stop during all this time, to the point where the Elders were worried. To expect that he would somehow manage to train even harder and achieve such explosive growth as to rival or surpass Yang Gan, while still being a LH, in a few months is not rational but an exaggerated estimate.

Then you wrote "I wasn't arguing that Ruo has no measurable limit. I would be saying he could be X or S level currently then...", but that doesn't answer the original question. I never said that you claimed that Ruo had no limit. The point was about what that limit would be based on the available data, and you have yet to prove that approach wrong.

Lastly, you wrote "What the motivation thing is that it is a complete refute to '[My theory]'..." Here you have a valid point, I assume you mean: "If Ruo really intends to advance quickly, this could contradict the idea that he is testing his limits before advancing". However, you still haven't proved my interpretation wrong. You've only claimed that Ruo's speeches indicate something different, but it can simply be argued that Ruo knows that he will only face mediocre or somewhat strong opponents in these early stages, in which case his current power is objectively sufficient. As for the later stages, there's no point in him saying that he'll finish quickly, because that depends more on the other participants than on him.
Wow, this time I really overdid it. I wrote much more than necessary. Sorry, everyone, I got carried away and had some free time.

Anyway, @Sov , I hope you don't think I like to write huge texts to confuse you, this time I didn't really think about it. Don't think too much about the topic of our discussion, personally, I think my logic is correct, but I admit that your prediction may also be correct. In the end, it's not even worth discussing Ruo's power, because the author described Ruo's physique as "favored by the heavens" and with "irrational growth" precisely for this reason, to have a loophole to do whatever he wants with Ruo, as ridiculous as it sounds.

I dont think the rogues did it alone, someone from our sect helped them and im going to find who, my best shot is on the he siblings.

Ai also shows her negative feelings about the rogues and grandfather part of the family if you are honest with her about qi and tang wei, so personally i like to think we're our own mini faction lol

It would be really funny if in the tourney fight against ruo he thought he is against tang wei the god, only for us to laught on his face and admit being the same old wu heir.

Arrogant, narcissistic and absolutely clueless. Great combination for the enemy to have so that we can eventually defeat them and rub in a 'in your face' monologue. Even more satisfying when you don't give a **** about him or his goals, makes it all the more insulting.

Yo do anybody has harsh thoughts about this update? storwise its one of the best but in terms of mechanics i think its trash.

i replayed from the start to test the crit stats and im dissappointed, its not a fight ender as i throught its just a damage reduction mechanic (at least for now)

No more attribute perks, no more using qi and regeneration on menu, dao perks only being available when you advance in the specific dao is cool but less customizable (elemental dao perk is still the best option), this was the first run that forced me to buy artifacts (robes and necklaces) and tattoos because of health issues.

Ngl I like the idea of perks being unlocked automatically and it really saved the atrocious EXP economy in this game. Just wish you could check on what you have cuz no way I'm expected to remember exactly what I picked.

I get what the line of thinking behind the Battle Menu being limited was, but having like 5 moves tops before you're locked in a death struggle is really annoying. You can't make much use of talismans anymore so Ma Rin and talisman abuser are even more useless now.

Aside from these I loved this update. All I want is for the tryhards in discord to not ruin it with more hardcore bs and these couple things settled

Tbf POMA was always been bad in terms of mechanics atleast imo

And yeah...I also got disappointed on the crit checks too...I also thought they are gonna be fight enders

Guys can you please recommend me some dark xianxia like Poma or REVEREND INSANITY
Dark Xianxia its a difficult genre the most i can think is: a sword god in a world of magic, age of adepts and paradise of demonic gods but all are more aligned with sword and sorcery than with xianxia, all have the worst endings i have read in my life.

My real recommendation as a fellow reader is the classics shadow slave and lord of the mysteries.

Question to you code divers out there. But what's the name of Stats. Used for this particular points? I swear I cannot for the life of me find it. IMG_20250303_001201.jpg

It's a temp variable, you can find it like this: stats.scene.temps.(variable)=9999
(In this case is talent_points or something like that) also, it only works when you're in the chapter where it was created, in this case prologue
